Punch Stretch Wraps are a 400cm length of cotton /elastic material that you use to wrap your hand and wrist for support and protection when boxing, Kickboxing and doing MMA. The stretch wraps are a great design and are generally worn by fighters who are more serious about their boxing as they do take some skill and time to put on and take off. The fantastic thing about these wraps are that you can support you hand or wrist more or less in the places that you need. For example, if you need more support around your wrist, you can dedicate as much of the wrap to your wrist as you need. Wrapping hands correctly is a technique and there are a few different ways of doing it. Basically you are able to wrap each knuckle individually to create the most amount of support and protection.
If you are wearing any type of glove, you will need to wear wraps not only for protection, but also to absorb sweat and save the glove from deteriorating. Sweat is acidic and will eat away material so the wraps will prevent this.
